BRANCHBURG
Branchburg Township is located in Somerset County, NJ and includes the communities
of North Branch and Neshanic Station. The township has a history antedating the
Revolutionary War and it was incorporated in from portions of Bridgewater Township.
Branchburg is the home to many notable attractions: The Neshanic Golf Course, the
Raritan Valley Community College and The River Lea Farm to name a few.
Today, Branchburg Township is considered a semi rural area, where the landscape
mainly comprised of farmland and established suburban neighborhoods.
Branchburg Township is conveniently located close to major highways. Bus service to
Manhattan is available on a daily basis and New Jersey Transit offers rail service from
Branchburg to Newark, where connections can be made to New York City. Newark
International Airport is approximately 35 miles northeast of Branchburg.
